Mandy and Joel are missionaries in West Africa (they cannot give the name of the country for security reasons).
They are standing with their team leaders, Derek and Tammy Walker, on the property where they plan to build their team houses.
We live among a people group that are considered “unreached” by the gospel and are 100% Muslim. Our mission is to reach these people by first becoming like them. We live in the village with a missionary team, adopting the language, dress, culture of the people in order to win them to Christ.
We will also be teaching at a local school that will help empower impoverished families in the village and also give us an official Presence in the region. We will also teach at a small church in the village, disciplining the next generation of believers and empowering them to reach their communities.
As we spend time with the people, and show them Jesus’ love in word and deed, we are confident that one day these lost Muslim friends of ours will bow their knees to Jesus!
